Gill's son Matt caught the largest catfish Gill has ever seen.  We are waiting for official word before announcing that it is a world record

Oct 10th

Gill's at The McHenry Dam is closed for the season,

Gill's at The Chain O Lakes is opened Thurs through Sunday only

This info on Lake Defiance was from last year but still holds true for now 

We get many phone calls and email about Lake Defiance.  Anglers want to know what's happening over in the park.  To answer those questions we sent a couple of our regulars over there this week armed with our special minnows and a camera. Click on the Lake Defiance link  (Lake Defiance) to see pictures from their 3 hour trip.  Largemouth Bass action has been good along the lilly pads.  Make sure you bring your weedless tackle.
